Cash For Cars Cleveland

Finding your VIN

The VIN is the 17-character ID stamped on every car. It lets us make sure the offer matches your exact vehicle.

1HGCM82633A004352Example. Letters and numbers only, and never the letters I, O or Q.

In your paperwork

  • Insurance card or insurance app
  • Vehicle registration
  • The title

On the car itself

  • Driver’s side of the dashboard, seen through the windshield
  • Sticker on the driver’s door jamb

Mileage can’t be confirmed?

If the odometer is broken or unreadable, we’ll note that the mileage can’t be verified. We still need your best guess at the miles.

What counts as a clean title?

A clean title has never been branded. If an insurance company declared the car a total loss, the title usually says “salvage”. Once repaired and inspected, it may say “rebuilt”. Check the front of your title if you’re unsure.

What counts as body damage?

Count dents, crushed areas, rust holes or tears in the metal bigger than a baseball. Everyday scratches, chips and small dings don’t change your offer.

About this offer

Your offer is built from the answers you gave about the car, and in most cases it’s exactly what you’re paid when we tow it away.

Before pickup, our team goes over the vehicle details with you. If anything means the amount has to change, you’ll hear about it before the tow and can decide what you’d like to do.
